Staff disregard parental concerns and actively bully students mentally.

The non-academic staff member I worked with at the Berwick Campus spent the whole day on the phone, booking airline tickets to NZ, even spent most of one afternoon updating her own & her sons passports, while she directed me to do her work. Couldn't work next to her due to the distraction of her constant phone use. Had to work in main library area. This staff member also runs her own Wedding Catering business, during her Haileybury work hours, which is a conflict of interest. Haileybury turns a "blind eye" to this. Don't waste your money sending your child here, they take your money and the staff waste it. They are too strict on students especially ELC students and expect them to be capable of work beyond their age. They are mean to Children who cannot speak English. One example: a 3 year old who parents only speak Chinese should not be spoken about and "be-littled" in front of other students...how do they know exactly how much English is actually understands! Not worth your hard earned money, lots of better schools where they care about your child and don't run the school like a business.

My children enjoy being at Haileybury. But you have to be teachers favourite to part of any performance or competition other than sports. It doesn’t matter what your child is capable of. Teachers favourite wins. I can easily name few but we have few more years at school so I better keep quiet
